By completing a purchase on www.civiltac.com, the customer acknowledges, agrees to, and is legally bound by the terms outlined in this Firearms Products for Sale & Checkout Agreement, along with all related company policies. Completion of checkout constitutes full acceptance of all terms and conditions associated with the purchase, without exception.
This agreement applies to all firearm-related products sold through Civil TAC LLC, including but not limited to firearms, receivers, frames, magazines, ammunition, body armor, tactical equipment, and any other regulated, restricted, or compliance-controlled items.
By proceeding with checkout, the customer confirms they have had the opportunity to review all applicable policies prior to purchase and accepts full responsibility for compliance with them.
By completing a purchase, the customer certifies under penalty of misrepresentation that they are legally eligible to purchase, possess, and own firearms, ammunition, and related products under all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
The customer further confirms and represents that they:
Are not a prohibited person under federal firearms laws or any applicable state law
Are not under indictment for, or convicted of, any felony or disqualifying offense
Are not subject to any restraining order, protection order, or court order that restricts firearm possession
Are not unlawfully using or addicted to controlled substances in a manner that would prohibit firearm ownership under applicable law
Meet all minimum age requirements required for the purchase of regulated products (including 18+ for eligible items and 21+ where required for firearms and ammunition)
Are legally allowed to receive, possess, and transfer all items included in the order
The customer understands and agrees that eligibility determination is solely their responsibility, and Civil TAC LLC does not provide legal advice, interpretation of firearm laws, or eligibility verification beyond federally required processes conducted by licensed FFL dealers.
All firearm purchases must be shipped to a valid Federal Firearms License (FFL) dealer selected or provided by the customer.
By completing a purchase, the customer expressly agrees that:
Firearms will not be shipped to a residential, business, or personal address
A valid FFL dealer must be designated before shipment can occur
The customer is responsible for ensuring the selected FFL dealer is willing and able to receive the firearm transfer
All background checks, ATF Form 4473 completion, and legal transfer procedures will occur at the FFL dealer location
The customer acknowledges that failure to provide a valid or accepting FFL dealer may result in delays, cancellation, or additional administrative processing fees.
Civil TAC LLC is not responsible for FFL refusal, transfer denial, or delays caused by third-party licensing entities.
The customer acknowledges that all firearm transfers are subject to federal and/or state background check requirements administered exclusively by the receiving FFL dealer in accordance with ATF regulations.
By completing checkout, the customer agrees that:
Civil TAC LLC does not conduct or control background check determinations
Approval or denial of firearm transfer is solely determined by the FFL dealer and governing authorities
A failed background check will result in the inability to complete the transfer
If a transfer is denied, the customer may be responsible for return shipping costs, administrative fees, and applicable restocking charges
The customer further acknowledges that background check delays are not the responsibility of Civil TAC LLC and may vary based on jurisdiction, workload, or regulatory requirements.
All firearm sales are strictly final.
Once a firearm has been shipped to an FFL dealer or entered into the transfer process:
The order cannot be canceled under any circumstance
The firearm cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded
Civil TAC LLC is not obligated to accept returns once the transfer process has begun
The customer confirms they have carefully reviewed product specifications, legal requirements, and compatibility prior to completing checkout.
By completing a purchase, the customer expressly acknowledges that firearm laws, restrictions, and regulations vary by jurisdiction and may change without notice.
The customer confirms that:
All products purchased are legal to own, possess, and receive in their jurisdiction
They are solely responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable local, state, and federal laws
Civil TAC LLC may cancel, modify, or refuse any order that violates applicable laws or shipping restrictions
This includes, but is not limited to, restrictions on firearms, serialized parts, magazines, ammunition capacity, body armor, and tactical equipment.
The customer acknowledges and agrees that:
Firearms are shipped exclusively to licensed FFL dealers
All shipping and processing times are estimates only and are not guaranteed
Civil TAC LLC is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather events, supply chain disruptions, regulatory holds, or FFL processing delays
Risk of loss transfers to the customer once the carrier marks the shipment as delivered to the designated FFL dealer location
The customer agrees that delivery timelines are not binding guarantees and may vary based on external factors beyond the control of Civil TAC LLC.
The customer assumes full responsibility for the lawful possession, handling, storage, and use of any firearm or related product upon lawful transfer from the FFL dealer.
The customer agrees that Civil TAC LLC shall not be held liable for any:
Improper or negligent handling of firearms or accessories
Illegal use or misuse of any product after transfer
Injury, damage, or loss resulting from ownership or use of purchased products
Failure to comply with applicable laws after transfer
The customer certifies that all information provided during checkout is true, accurate, complete, and current, including but not limited to billing information, shipping information, and FFL dealer information where applicable.
The customer understands that providing false, misleading, or incomplete information may result in order cancellation, delayed processing, or potential legal consequences under applicable law.
The customer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Civil TAC LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, and partners from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, losses, or expenses arising from:
The customer’s purchase, possession, or use of any product
Violation of any applicable laws or regulations
Misrepresentation of eligibility or information during checkout
Misuse, unlawful possession, or negligent handling of firearms or related items
Any breach of this agreement or related policies
By completing checkout, the customer confirms and agrees that they have read, understood, and accepted the following policies in full:
