Overview

Plate rack target systems are bulky and expensive to ship. Spartan Armor Systems® has come up with an innovative solution. If you weld, or know someone who does, you can find tremendous savings by purchasing our DIY plate rack. Simply source some steel parts and Spartan Armor will supply the AR500 targets (6” paddles or 8” paddles), pivot brackets, levers, and the resetting mechanism. Spartan Armor has sold hundreds of these plate rack kits due to the tremendous value and savings.

• Assembly: Pre-built kits are ready to use. DIY kits require welding and assembly, ideal for those who enjoy hands-on projects.
• Shipping: Pre-built kits ship in two packages – one with targets (and optional base) and another with angle iron and pre-welded pivot tubes.
• Recommendations: For DIY kits, use 1.5″ angle iron in .25 thickness. Consider adding the Multi-Purpose Base (MPB) for easy setup.
• Purchase Information: Choose between pre-built or DIY kits. Optional additions include .22LR paddles, challenge tree paddles, and multi-purpose base.
